It's springtime and purple scallions, spring onions, ramps and other spring veggies are making their way into farmers markets. I bought several bunches of purple scallions last weekend at the farmers market in my neighborhood and tossed them with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and simply grilled them up on our indoor countertop grill. They are really sweet and fragrant!
